Sources and licences
one-go is built on open data and free software. Here are their authors, their licences, and what we do with them.
Journeys
Journeys are calculated by MOTIS, a free journey-planning engine (MIT licence), installed on our own servers. one-go does not query any third-party journey-planning service.
Network timetables
Timetables are published by transport networks and their public transport authorities on transport.data.gouv.fr, the French national access point for transport data. Depending on the dataset, they are released under the ODbL, the Licence Mobilités or the Licence Ouverte.
Great Britain
British timetables are published by Aubin MaaS Limited. They contain data from the Department for Transport (Bus Open Data Service) and train timetables “powered by National Rail Enquiries”. FlixBus coach timetables are published by FlixBus. © OpenStreetMap contributors.
In Great Britain, one-go estimates neither prices nor CO₂: the fare scales and emission factors used in France do not apply there.
Fares
When a network publishes its fares with its timetables, one-go shows that exact price. Otherwise, the price is a one-go estimate, marked with “≈”: an order of magnitude based on the type of transport and the distance. The details are on the How it works page.
Official SNCF fares (SNCF Open Data) are not imported yet.
Addresses
Address and municipality search in France uses the geocoding service of the IGN Géoplateforme, based on the national address database (Base Adresse Nationale).
Places
The search for named places (hotels, museums, shops…) and stations uses MOTIS, free software installed on our servers, and OpenStreetMap data.

CO₂
The emission factors for each mode of transport are orders of magnitude published by ADEME (impactCO2), the French environment agency. The calculation is detailed on the How it works page.
Coaches
Exact BlaBlaCar coach prices will come from the BlaBlaCar Bus API. This source is not connected yet: in the meantime, these prices are estimates, marked with “≈”.
Fonts
The site uses the Anybody and Schibsted Grotesk fonts, under the SIL Open Font License. They are hosted on the site: no request goes to a third-party service.
An error in the data?
If a stop, a time or a price seems wrong to you, let us know. We also pass errors on to the data producers whenever possible.
