Privacy

What one-go does with your data: as little as possible. No account, no profile, no targeted advertising.

This English translation is provided for convenience. The French version is the one that prevails.

Data controller

[TO BE COMPLETED: name and address of the data controller]

Contact for any question about your data: [TO BE COMPLETED: dedicated email address], or the Contact page.

The data processed

Your searches

The places you enter (addresses, places, stations) and their coordinates are sent to the geocoding and journey-planning services for the duration of the request, so that we can answer you. A technical cache keeps the results for 24 hours at most, to show the same search again faster.

Your searches are not linked to an account or to a person. No profile is created. The addresses and positions you enter are not written to the server logs.

Your location

It is only requested in three cases, and your browser or phone then asks for your permission:

  • if you choose “My location” as the starting point: it is used for that search only and is not kept;
  • if you choose “Start guidance” during a walking journey: it is read by your browser to move the map, with your device's compass if it has one. It is not sent to one-go, and guidance stops when you leave the journey or ask it to;
  • if you choose “Start the journey”: it is used to place you on the line and to warn you before your stop. In the one-go app for Android or iPhone, this tracking continues with the screen off, as long as the journey is in progress; Android shows this with a “Journey in progress” notification. Your location stays on your phone: it is sent neither to one-go nor to any third party, and tracking stops when you leave the journey.

Notifications and vibrations

When you start a journey, one-go asks for permission to show notifications. They are only used for the stop alarm (“Next stop: …”). It is only set once your location, read on your phone, shows that you are on the train, or once you tell us which train you are on; nothing is sent by a server. You can refuse them: the alarm then stays on screen, with a vibration.

Technical logs

Like any server, one-go's server records technical information (date, IP address, page requested) to keep the site secure and running properly. Retention period: [TO BE COMPLETED: log retention period].

The contact form

Your name (optional), your email address and your message are used to reply to you. They are kept for 12 months, then deleted.

Preferences in your browser

The sort order you chose, your discount card and your recent searches may be kept in your browser, never on our servers. The details and the button to delete them are on the Cookies and storage page.

These services only receive what they need for their role. Your browser never contacts them directly: all requests go through one-go's server, which does not pass on your IP address.

Legal bases

  • Searches and technical logs: the publisher's legitimate interest in providing the requested service and keeping it secure.
  • Location and notifications: your consent, given in your browser or phone when asked.
  • Contact form: your consent, given by ticking the box on the form.

Your rights

You can ask to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its processing, and object to its processing. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us through the Contact page: we reply within one month.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.

Audience measurement

To know what is useful and what is missing, one-go anonymously counts a few actions on the site: pages viewed, searches made, journeys opened or started, clicks to an operator's website. This measurement is done by our own servers, for us only.

  • What is counted: categories, for example “search from Martinique to Martinique”, “4 or more journeys”, “train and coach”, “came from: a search engine”.
  • What never is: the addresses, places and stations entered, the text of searches, your location, your IP address. No cookie is set.
  • A visit is linked by a random number, kept only for as long as the tab is open. Nothing links two visits together.
  • Retention: the data is deleted after 13 months.
  • Legal basis: the publisher's legitimate interest. This measurement meets the CNIL's conditions to be exempt from consent.

If your browser asks not to be tracked (“Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control”), nothing is measured. You can also opt out here:

What we do not do

  • No selling or renting of data.
  • No targeted advertising, no advertising trackers.
  • No audience measurement by a third-party service (no Google Analytics, no pixel).
